Ethanol Experiment Number 4: Test Digital Thermometer

TITLE:	Experiment #4
OBJECTIVE(S):	Test the digital thermometer we are using to measure the temperature at the "Separator Module" and determine if boiling water does in fact measure 212*F.
GO/NO-GO:	GO (Successful test, however the thermometer is NOT 100% accurate.)
SUMMARY:	*Thermometer does NOT measure 212F when immersed in boiling water, nor when in the vapor of the boiling water.**

The question has arisen as to whether or not the digital thermometer we are using is properly calibrated to measure boiling water as 212F.
This experiment has determined this thermometer does NOT measure boiling water as 212F. Nor did it read the vapor as 212*F.

Temperature stabilizes at 210*F, although I have seen 209*F quite often, and only very briefly 211*F.
I suspect the 211*F was primarily a result of touching the bottom of the kettle.

This reads 210*F, with the thermometer in the spout of the boiling kettle..
