Hello. Thank you for considering my service to fulfill your needs.

My name is Erik Weaver and I have held a Commercial Driver's License (CDL Class A) since 1991, and have driven well over 1,500,000-miles. Your equipment and/or materials are always treated as carefully as I treat my own. I always plan my routes for safety, and for timely delivery. And I'm only a cell phone away!

( 417 ) 496 - 6288

I have driven many different kinds of over-the-road trucks. I started in the flat bed industry and have transported loads as long as 115-feet and 20-feet tall and 20-feet wide. I have also transported dry vans and refrigerated foods for many years, regularly driving coast to coast.

In 2005 I began operating my own drive-away business transporting new and used equipment ranging from tractors ("big trucks") to all kinds of recreational trailers. Most recently I have begun escorting over-dimensional freight. I carry $1,000,000 Commercial Insurance, with Pennsylvania as an added insured, and hold amber light certifications for both NV and GA (the only two states which require this). I am certified by the state of Kansas to escort Superloads, and am certified by the state of Utah as a Pilot Car Escort Driver and Flag Man.

As a Driver Manager I was responsible for up to a dozen delivery drivers, including hiring, firing, and training them. During these four years I was solely responsible for developing the plant's FMCSA, DOT, and OSHA safety programs. I also developed a computer-based customer-needs program to forecast the delivery needs of our customers. I was responsible for maintaining quality customer relations and enjoyed helping our customers.

My personal hobbies include amateur radio. I understand communication systems very well and have designed and built antenna systems allowing me to speak with people all over the world using both home-based and mobile systems. I have been a member of the Amateur Radio Emergency Service for many years. In addition to learning how to maintain efficient communications I have worked closely with Served Agencies ranging from the American Red Cross, to the Greene County Office of Emergency Management in Missouri. I also provide emergency communications support and planning during fund raising events for groups such as the Ozark Greenways Adventure Race, and the Multiple Sclerosis Society (MSS) during their annual bike-ride. Both are fund-raising events which involve overseeing the safety of hundreds of volunteers and participants. The MSS's annual bike-ride approaches 1,000 riders covering a 150-mile course and requires the coordination of a multitude of supporting services. I hold several certifications for Emergency Communications as well as certifications issued by the Department of Homeland Security. I am also an Radio Amateur Civil Emergency Service member, trained and sanctioned by the Greene County Office of Emergency Management in Missouri. Successfully passing a criminal background check performed by law enforcement is required to hold this position.

You may be confident you are in good hands!

Since 2002 I have been developing an International Special Event called The Strange Antenna Challenge(SM). During this event amateur radio operators such as myself employ a wild variety of common-day items as impromptu antennas. This is yet another way I practice emergency preparedness and public relations. In combination with my many amateur radio service efforts I have written numerous press releases which have resulted in many of the events being reported upon by the local news services (both in print and television).

My amateur radio call sign is NØEW, and is issued by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) after successfully passing a series of proctored examinations. I am the author of a book entitled "Antenna & Transmatch Evaluation Field Manual: Official Guide for the KØS Strange Antenna Challenge" which has become known simply as the "Field Manual." This text is well received by my fellow amateur radio operators and is a labor of love.

In short, I will safely transport, or escort, any freight you need moved. My many years of dealing intimately with both drivers and customers ensures I embody the skills and desire to treat your customers with the same care and respect as you would yourself. You may find others as qualified I am, but you will find none better, nor anyone more interested in keeping your customers happy and eager to do business with you!

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Sincerely yours,

Erik E. Weaver
